Training & Exercises

Capability building · 4 to 8 weeks · in-house or open-enrollment

Testing response capability under realistic conditions and building it where it is lacking.

SwissResilience designs and facilitates training programmes and crisis exercises for executive teams, crisis managers and operational staff across all sectors.

Our training & exercise services

1 · Executive & Board Awareness Session and Workshop

A focused 3-hour session on operational resilience for senior leadership, tailored to the organisation’s specific risk profile and sector.

Designed to align the Executive Committee on priorities and build the internal case for resilience investment.

2 · Crisis Communication Workshop

Training for spokespersons and executive teams on managing the communication dimension of a crisis: pre-approved messages, regulatory notification protocols, media management and social media response under pressure.

3 · Tabletop Crisis Management Exercise

A half- or full-day facilitated crisis simulation on a customised scenario — cyber attack, supplier failure, site incident, or a composite scenario. Structured debrief and written after-action review included.

Reveals team dynamics, decision-making gaps and plan weaknesses in a controlled environment.

4 · Live Crisis Management Exercise

A full-scale, multi-team exercise under realistic conditions, with observation, coaching and adjudication throughout.

Designed for organisations that want to test their crisis management framework at full operational intensity. After-action review and improvement plan included.

Free demonstration Tabletop Exercise

SwissResilience offers a complimentary 90-minute demonstration Tabletop Exercise for organisations wishing to test their response capability before committing to an engagement.

A direct, practical way to experience the value of a structured exercise and identify the most urgent capability gaps.

Who is Training & Exercises for?

  • Executive teams that have never tested their crisis response under realistic pressure
  • Organisations with existing plans that have not been validated in a live exercise
  • Crisis management teams preparing for a regulatory review or audit
  • Organisations that want to build a programme of annual exercises with after-action improvement cycles

All exercises are designed around the organisation’s own scenarios, plans and team composition. No generic simulations because every exercise must reveal something real.
